Music Mentorships
Kickstart Arts works with highly regarded local musicians spanning a wide range of genres.
Newly emerging artists are given one-on-one time with them to develop their skills, write and record new material and help forge industry connections. To find out how to become a mentor or mentee for future mentorship programs, make contact with Stephen.
Christopher Coleman:
Songwriter Sundays
We launched our first Music Mentorship program in 2019 with Kickstart Arts' current Artist in Residence and nationally renowned singer songwriter Christopher Coleman.
Six upcoming singer songwriters spent a month each working with Christopher writing new material and developing their craft. They spent their final session in a recording studio at Kickstart Arts to record a demo of the song.
