The Creek Road Art Orchestra

The Creek Road Art Orchestra brought together 10 highly skilled musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds to share stories and create new exuberant and joyful music through an exploratory improvisational approach. The Orchestra's debut work in 2021 explored the intersections of home, belonging, social justice and civil disobedience.

The Orchestra met regularly throughout 2021, and has created a collective sound unlike anything you've ever heard before! Under the leadership of musical director Stevie McEntee, the orchestra performed in the intimate Hidden Theatre at Kickstart Arts, accompanied by a jazz rhythm section and string quartet. Orchestrations by national award winning composer and arranger Kelly Ottaway.
