
"The Stuttering Association For The Young Australia (SAY: AU) is coming to Hobart! That's right - join SAY: AU for a fun-filled, magical, and FREE day for kids & teens who stutter on Saturday 22nd November, 10:00am to 4pm at THE OLD SCHOOL ROOM, Building 1831 South, 12 St John's Avenue, St John's Park, New Town, TAS 7008.
SAY: AU is thrilled to be coming to Hobart to welcome and introduce young people who stutter from Tasmania to the magic of the SAY: AU community that prioritises connection, collaboration, and community!
Hosted by Rich Stephens (SAY: AU's President and a person who stutters) and supported by a team of Hobart-based volunteers, the day will offer a wide variety of games and activities, encouraging communication, creativity, and teamwork - all within a loving, supportive, accepting, empathic, fun, and deep-listening space, where every child has as much time as they need to say the words they want to say, and where it's really ok to stutter.
Also, a parent-only space will be provided for Parents will also have the opportunity to connect, share, and support one another in a parent-only space, whilst learning more about the programs SAY: AU has to offer."
