Celebrate Love in Cyanotype at Kickstart this Valentine's Day

Roses are red
Cyanotype is blue

Come to Kickstart this V-Day
And make a framed artwork for YOU (or your loved one )

Valentine's Day began in the 1400s and Valentine's greetings became popular in the mid 1800s around the same time the very first photographic process, Cyanotype, was invented. In this workshop you'll make two striking blue-tone images of your own design - they can be loved up or toned down; whatever your heart desires! - and we'll give you a frame to pop one in to give to yourself or your beloved.

Important:

  • All printmaking materials are included but you might like to bring flowers or small sentimental objects to make prints of.

  • Bring your own apron and a hat - we'll be out in the sun and working with water

  • BYO beverage of choice to toast love and creativity with. We'll provide some snacks.

  • If there is rain forecast we'll need to reschedule.

2.5hr workshop, 1pm-3:30pm
