The Hope Trio – Album Launch

The Hope Trio brings together three of Hobart’s most respected jazz musicians: Konrad Park on drums, Dan Sulzberger on keyboards, and Nigel Hope on bass. Each a seasoned professional in their own right, together they form a trio known for precision, groove, and fearless musical conversation.

Fresh from recording their new album at Frying Pan Studio inside Mona, the trio will launch the release with an exclusive performance at Kickstart Arts on 17th January. Audiences can expect deep listening, generous improvisation, and the unmistakable feel of players who share history, trust, and craft.

This event marks a milestone for the group and offers a rare opportunity to experience three heavyweights of the Tasmanian jazz scene in an intimate space designed for close engagement with the music.

Manchild Brewing will curate a dedicated bar for the launch, pouring a selection of Tasmania’s finest craft beverages. Their involvement brings a distinctly local flavour to the evening, with beers and drinks chosen to complement the atmosphere and celebrate independent Tasmanian makers. Guests will be able to enjoy the best of the state’s brewing culture while immersed in an unforgettable night of live jazz.
